Aurora

Meet the community

What is Aurora?

Aurora is a community built on a shared love of EA Sports FC and the FIFA games that came before it. It’s a place to meet other fans, share memories, talk football and enjoy the games together.

A community first#

From favourite Ultimate Team squads to the matches you still remember, Aurora brings together people who care about these games. Our Discord is where the community comes together to chat, find other players, share ideas and help each other.

Whether you play the latest FC release or prefer an older FIFA, you’re welcome to be part of the conversation.

Aurora Discord and the numbered games#

Aurora Discord is the community. It brings together fans of EA Sports FC and FIFA to chat, find players, share experiences and follow community activities.

Aurora 13, Aurora 14, Aurora 15, Aurora 16 and Aurora 21 are game restoration projects. Each number identifies the FIFA title being worked on. For example, Aurora 15 is the community restoration project for FIFA 15’s online services.

The Discord is a shared space where people can discuss these projects and get support, but the community and the numbered game projects serve different purposes.

Community or Discord advertising and sponsorships are separate from the games. Personal payments to developers support their own projects and are not payments to Aurora or its game servers. Our Legal notes explain these distinctions in more detail.

Restoring the games we love#

Alongside the community, we work on a separate side project: reviving online services for older FIFA titles. This is a community-led restoration project, driven by a love for the games and the experiences people built around them.

The aim is to make those classic online experiences playable together again, while adding thoughtful fixes and quality-of-life improvements. It’s a passion project built through development, testing and community feedback.

Each title has its own progress and features. Explore Quality of life for additions such as Aurora League, promo rotations and custom tournaments, or check server status for current availability.

Independent and community-led#

The restoration project is non-profit and community-driven. Aurora is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Electronic Arts, EA Sports, FIFA or their licensees.

Our Legal notes explain free access, personal payments to developers, and the separation between community advertising or sponsorships and the game restoration projects.
